South Lake Christian Church
Online Giving

Everything we have comes from God. Everything. So, when we give a portion of what He’s given to us back to Him, we are letting God know that we’re placing our faith and our financial future in His hands. This significant act deepens our faith, and our relationship with God will be strengthened in amazing ways.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do I go to donate?

A: At the top of the church website you will see “Give”. Simply click on this and follow the directions.

Q: What are the benefits of online giving?

A: Besides not needing to remember your checkbook or carry cash to church on Sundays, there are several other benefits to online giving for both you and the church.

  • Simplicity – You will not need to remember if you gave this month or pay period, or send your offering checks when you are out of town.
  • No Distractions – Instead of needing to worry about writing your contribution check during the service, you can be fully engaged with the worship service, knowing that you have already given your offering.

Q: What type of cards are accepted?

A: MasterCard, VISA, Discover credit cards along with debit cards.

Q: The bible discourages debt, so why does the church accept credit card donations?

A: Used within responsible parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks, then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing debt or credit card problems from exercising the option to use a credit card.

Q. How do I know my donation made it to the church?

A:You will receive a confirmation email immediately after you complete your donation. You can keep the email as a receipt for tax purposes.

Q: What will my debit/credit card statement show?

A: It will show a transaction line item for South Lake Christian Church.

Q: Does the church have a preferred method of payment?

A: Your bank’s Online Bill Pay system is the preferred method of giving online since this results in no additional cost to the church of the giver.
